i found this picture online and thought it was so adorable. it's even been my wallpaper for the past couple of weeks. but, if you know me personally and from the picture on the left, you know that i'm not a blonde, my skin tone is a few shades darker, and i don't really wear lipstick. however!!! you know damn well that i'm off to London and Paris for Spring Break. i promise to take plenty o' pics and have plenty o' tales to tell. and i'll be back on March 24th.
deuces, kisses, and hugs= 2xo
i was just YouTubing around and found this. i've been on an SATC kick because i've been playing my dvd's all the way through until i get to the final ep which i plan on watching before i leave for London/Paris tomorrow. i'm on season four where Carrie and Aidan get back together, so it's passed the point of this video....but this YouTube clip is goooood and it features Amy Winehouse's "You Know I'm No Good"... so click play.
i love going on to your blog page ever so often... but i've noticed a few things. sometimes you post things that are prettyyyy late. example one, the M.I.A. for Marc Jacobs ad which was out for two months already. i even had one of the ads as my MySpace default. and recently you posted up Rhymefest's "Man in the Mirror" link and was talking about the MR vs. MJ skit (Mark Ronson vs. Michael Jackson). i've been listening to that since December of 2007.
mr. West, i know that you're a busy man with your tours, flights to Paris, music, and such... but i look to you to get me ahead, not to make me fall behind. so please--stay on point. i mean, if anything feel free to add me to your team so we can be up on things collectively.
-sincerely,
ms.rea

go and check out Res' MySpace page!!!
she happened to find the "Ice King" clip i recorded
when she was at Midway in NY and decided to put it up on her page. she even wrote a blog about it which is appropriately titled, "Res Performs Ice King Live in New York!" in the blog she says, and i quote lol, "this clip is from a great person who decided to film our show..." well, i'm that "great person" :) check out the page here
new Janet Jackson video "Rock With You". not really diggin' the hairstyle, but i like the vibe of the song.

ahh!! Sex and the City's Carrie and Mr. Big were out and about this past week in NYC on 5th ave. taking some snapshots for the up and coming issue of Vogue magazine. could May 31st come a little bit faster please??!!
so i guess i do have a reason to come back to the US after all. the Hills are back on March 24th on Mtv for season 3... yay!

thank you Jesus! kaYye is coming out with the "Homecoming" video with Coldplay's Chris Martin. i listen to this song everyday and when i saw the pictures on k Weezy's blog page, i was very, very pleased.i just hope i don't get stumped like the "Flashing Lights" video...yes, art is art, buuuuut...
for the past year i've been making mix cd's for my car (i take this very seriously lol) because i'm not a big fan of the radio. i would just put up a song for the day on my instant messenger away messages just to keep people in tune with what i was listening to. but now through Imeem and Blogspot, i can just create a playlist, post it... and that's that. i usually pick songs that relate to what i'm going through; so you'll rarely get a song filler..each song relates to the next and i personally think i have a nack for making the whole stack of songs flow well together ;)
anyway, here's my first Imeem playlist titled marchMADNESS...enjoy!

what a great show, but we all knew that Christian was going to win. he claimed from day one that he was "sort of a big deal" and that attitude took him all the way to the end.
i also enjoyed the ANTM strutters. Hiedi and Tyra finally figured out that they could take over this fashion thing huh? damn those tall skinny bitches lol.
new Gnarls Barkley video
ps. check out an 80's clad Justin Timberlake
i was checking the stats on my fM YouTube page (ok so i only have one clip that's only a minute long) to see if anyone else was checking out my Res footage. not only did someone check it out, but they put it on their website--in France! to some this may seem like a little thing, and that's fine. but this is pretty big to me. my little pink Kodak cam's footage made it's way to another continent. ok, ok, i'll get off the amped train... well... let me stay on for two more stops ;)
i tried to read the music site to pick up on what it was about but the only part i could get was "last fm- the Social Music Revolution"; and i only picked up on that because it was the only thing written in english other than the artists' names. but go ahead and check it out for yourself... music is a universal language.

well everyone... the new supA designs from ms. the woman, the myth, the legend--Madonna, will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame live on Vh1 March 10th. in order to recieve this honor you must be an acclaimed music artist for at least 25 years. can you believe that she has been in the game that long? from "Everybody" to her soon to be realeased single featuring Justin Timberlake, her music defines the times as each song has taken us through each phase she has gone through. and i doubt that she will be stopping anytime soon. i know i'm late with it...but here it is.... "I Know" Jay Z with P. starring Zoe Kravitz and a sweet high...
