... It's about time they realized this is the only way the FAF series would work again.

... well not so much. BUT, the chiseled face actor is hooking up with the skin/hair/beauty line Kiehl's. Pitt will be creating the shower gel, yet will not appear or have his name on the product. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Kiehl’s Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser, washing up in stores in October for $16.95 a bottle, will go to the newly launched JPF Eco Systems, a nonprofit started by Pitt and Kiehl's to "minimize impact on the environment through thoughtful design."

interesting...
sorry to say, but simply great.
ps.
ain't my bf cute?? lol
i've been saying it for weeks. and it still remains. SUPER CR3W!!! the finals are this thursday and i've voted for them numerous times. in this specific performance they had to incorporate global dances from Africa, Jamaica,Brazil and more. it would've been a doper competition if they were up against Fanny Pack (SoReal Cru? eh). but don't sleep--still vote for Super Cr3w.

apparently this is the last season (tear) but i cannot wait for tonight!!! every time i watch this show i have a need to move to LA. the "friendships", style, boys, and DRAMA are priceless. so you all know the drill right? between 10pm-10:30pm i must be left alone.
So I'm totally addicted to the Style Network. Now they have a new show called The :Dish which is kind of like The Soup but in a pretty little handbag. It has the same formula as The Soup but it talks about magazines, Project Runway, and fashion fumbles. OH!!! and it also has a segment where they show a clip from old exercise video LOL. It's hosted by Danielle Fischel (Topanga from 'Boy Meets World').

ever been to Foxwoods in CT? well I was there on 6th and 7th of this month. It was my first time going to a gambling scene and i enjoyed it a lot... my Primemark purse, not so much. The Sopranos penny slot machine was my frienemy. At one point I'd be winning a lot... then it was all gone. However, the most exciting part of being in CT was finding out that kanYe West was performing on the 7th at the MGM Grand next door. the casinos/hotels are set up in a way that you don't have to go outside to bounce around. so after lunch me and my crew (by crew i mean my mom and grandparents) strolled over to the MGM to catch a quick glimpse. we found the theater but the doors were locked. I peeped in through the cracks and saw the GITD tees stacked on the floor. I knew my chances of running into anyone from the show was very slim. But it was cool knowing that I was in the same building with THE MAN.
ps.
if i was between the ages of (18-22) I would've found out where he was lol.

so Thursday July 31st was a very, VERY long and hectic day. my day began at 5 a.m.: i spent the night at my Grandmother's house because my cousin Denise and I were going to attend the Wendy Williams Show. being that the show tapes live Mon-Thurs. at 10a.m. we needed to catch an early train etc etc. my friend Antwon from BK met us there and the three of us sat tight hoping we wouldn't be put in the "ugly" section. well honey (I'm mad my typing sounds the way Wendy would speak lol) we sure as hell were. I am going to take the blame and say it was my hair that put us there. humidity + my hair = disaster. i didn't know what to do with it and had to stop at the local Rite Aid to buy head bands. but enough about me--back to the show. it was episode #14 that featured Ray-J. i'll be the first to say that both Wendy and Ray-J look a whooole lot better in person. unfortunately i did not get much airtime unlike my friend Antwon who was on screen for about a whole minute because he was right behind Wendy during her "Ask Wendy" segment. even during the break i checked my SK and saw and IM from Jewels saying "I just saw Antwon." major WTF, LOL, J/K--hahaha.

after the show wrapped i headed home (oh no i stopped at Sanrio it Times Sq. and loaded up on some goodies) took a well needed nap, then woke up to head out to the Hot 97 DJ launch party. ok so let's rewind. the day before the Wendy Show, i headed out to Hot97 to pick up the tickets for the party at 8 a.m. i was so excited that i was going to have a full day and was excited to share the experience with my friends. so now let's fast forward to the night of the party. Jewels rolled to my house and my other friend Karen was going to meet us out there in NYC. J and I drove into the city and when we walked up to the venue there were not one, but TWO long lines. i'm not going to get into spcecifics, but let's just say when people in NY wait too long, they get mad. when they get mad--it's a wrap!! the whole situation was f*ck*d. the handling of the crowd was wrong, the bouncers were rude and Hot97 has lost my respect. they burned me once with the NaS show at Webster Hall back in 2006, and now they did it again.

nevertheless J and I (Karen :( left us) grabbed a bite then strolled over to club Spy and received some nice VIP treatment--literally. i was able to get a laugh out of seeing a little dog make it's way to the dance floor and smell the desperation in the air. but we made the best of it...
ps...thanx to Marc "with a C" @ Dave&Busters.... i treated you like sh*t and you luved me lol--tough love is my thing :) OH!! and that chicken was not free buddy!!

it was a lovely day as three generations of women shared a calming day at Point Pleasant beach. however, my mother had a bad case with eye wear. somehow her H&M sunglasses broke and ...well...i'm not going to embarass her lol. BUT beyond that i was more upset than anything when my Christian Dior Glossy 1 black sunnys broke when they were put inside of her wristlet. i thought it would be a fun idea if my Mother and i went on a ride together and smart Ramona decided to put my sunglasses inside of her wristlet so they wouldn't fall off of my head. silly me!!! my Mother couldn't grasp (PUN INTENDED) the concept of holding on to the handle bars therefore used her wristlet as something to hold on to. the end result was my Dior's breaking :(
"MOVE OVER!!!! MOOOOOOVVE OOOOOVVVERRRRRRR!!!!" LOL

there are only a few places where i shop. those places are H&M, Old Navy, Gap, Esprit, and Target. i was so excited to find out last summer that a Target would be opening down the street from my home. on its opening day (about three Sundays ago) i made my way down there and was instantly hit with the new Go International collection, Botkier for Target bags... everything in the store was fresh and in its place. then right next door is also a new (but tiny) Best Buy. a Whole Foods market will be the last installment in the new trilogy of one stop shopping. *sigh* i can tell i'll be spending a lot more on clothing, music, gadgets etc. but at least i'll be saving money on gas :)

It's another sad day in Hollywood.
E! News has confirmed that Grammy and Oscar-winning musician Isaac Hayes passed away early Sunday morning in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 65. The cause of death was not immediately known.
Police were called to the Hayes' home when relatives found him unresponsive on the floor near a treadmill.
Hayes was taken to Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08 a.m.
Hayes composed the soundtrack to 1971's Shaft, co-wrote the hit song "Soul Man," and provided the voice of "Chef" on South Park. He also had a small role playing himself in the upcoming movie Soul Man starring Bernie Mac, who died yesterday at the age of 50 from pneumonia.
... one more left to go...

as i was in my room i glanced at the bottom of my tv screen just to catch this breaking E! news :
Actor-comedian and Peabody Award winner Bernie Mac has passed away.
"Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital," his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement.
"No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family's privacy continues to be respected."
Mac was 50 years old.
The comedian was first hospitalized with the illness back on Aug. 1 and was initially said to be "responding well" to treatment.
A spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed to E! News that Mac had been a patient for "over a week" and that he died Saturday of "natural causes."
While Mac also suffered from sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation in the lungs, his battle with pneumonia was not said to be connected with the disease.
for our generation he will be remembered for contributing his voice to kanYe west's first two albums, his 'Bernie Mac Show' which i used in a class to demonstrate how he broke the wall between the audience and the screen, and as one of the "Kings of Comedy'. he will truly be missed.
all you HK die hards, i will be selling some merchandise from lunch bags, stationery, jewelry and more. things should be up no later than monday. so check my eBay page and get your bid on!!
