sorry to be late with the posting. anyway, i put this song up because it came out when my mother and i just moved to the 'wood...i remember that i was totally in love with Justin, J.C. and this video. you can definitely say that i 'N Sync was my pick over all of the boy-bands. enjoy!

RiRi ( since everyone else calls her that) was out and about with her BB. is it just me, or does no one put silicone cases on their phones anymore? i'm sorry but i can't afford to have a scratch on mine; literally and figuratively. ya digg??

i got the idea from my girl Jewels to stop paying others to do things that i can damn well do for myself. i haven't gotten tips put on my nails in sooo long and i was getting tired of seeing my digits look so bare. i have a habit of buying nail polish as well and then i never use it. so last week i put a stop to things and started with the homemade nail art. this is my first attempt at my manicure and i used Essie polish in Steel-ing the Scene and Art Club's Nail Art Lacquer in black and white. viola!

let me start off by saying that i had high hopes for my day at the outlets upstate NY.  but i woke up to my lovely mother screaming about the snow outside.  SNOW ON THE 1st DAY OF SPRING?! awesome.  Julie was my shopping buddy for the day and after waiting a while to see how the weather would turn out, we decided to go ahead with our business and take the trip up there.

on friday i took a quick trip to Woodbridge Mall in NJ to return an unused dress to XXI. but ladies, you know their return policy: NO MONEY BACK. EXCHANGE ONLY! no worries, i was able to swap the $25 dress for four items and only had to pay a buck and some change. sooo, here's what i got:









i also got these really cute satin fuchsia peep toe sling back pumps for $5.99!! they were the laaast pair. you can tell they were a bit worn, but they were a great fit and price, so i was taking them.  a pic will come soon... as soon as i find an occasion to wear them to :)

i came across these songs on my iPod this past week and it reminded me of how simple and cool pop music used to be. i know a few people who don't like Pink and think that she's changed a lot. but she's been about girl power from the start of her career and it's cool that she can do different things. she's a great artist and i'm happy she never got stuck in one genre..

Dane Cook will be busting balls and guts at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Saturday May 2nd. you have no idea how exciting it is to have a venue only 10 minutes away from home. seeeeriousllyyyy considering getting a job there so i can get a hook-up on tickets lol. i'm not sure if i'll be going to this show, but we shall seeee.

i finally got my tickets for the Lily Allen show at the Roseland Ballroom in April. Julie and I will be gettin' it in with one of my favorite British gals (I swear i was English in another life). I'm looking forward to hearing her new music live soooo much. Above is a pic from a show she did at Webster Hall a few years back. it was her second show in the US. and now--she is everywhere!! i can't wait to see my girl!!

Haize.Rava aka the SupA Designer is putting the tees aside for a cool Mod look.  this new feminine style from HR is a line that i can't wait to see!!  the sneak peek images taken by photographer Christopher Vanderyajt are just as amazing with the black and white against the bold colors.  definitely pops, definitely rocks!! 

Barbie turns 50 today!! There are so many cute and new Barbies out there for this great milestone. So pretty, so beautiful, so Barbie.

here's a pic of my FIRST Barbie--1984: Aerobics Instructor. I remember living in the Bronx and my Mom brought her home. I opened the box, played with her for a little bit, then i ripped her legs off lol. 

for a little over a week now i've been enjoying my new BB 8900.  i was a sidek!cker for years and have discovered a whole new world.  i love BBM, the download apps from different sites, the camera, video recorder, and even the fact that i can play music and hook it up to my car stereo. ps the sound is amazing.  for this to be my first BB i'm very happy that i waited.
yesterday when i was on twitter i was lucky to be chatting with another BB girl, PurpleLipstiick, and she put me on to NancyDrewThemes (pictured above) and i downloaded the CUTEST HelloKittyXMac theme.

i've also come across sites that show celebs with new BB's and i must say i feel like i joined a kick a** club.  here's Lindsay Lohan with her 8900.  i will definitely be posting pics of BB users whenever i come across them.

ok, i'm not a fan of being tagged in pictures where i look gross or videos that i'm not even featured in, and funny enough, facebook has been notorious for these situations.  lately though, there seems to be a habit of people tagging their friends in notes.  i find that annoying as well, but this note that my cousin Rhonda tagged me in is actually amazing.  these past few weeks almost everyone i've come into contact with has been going through some type of relationship hardship (friends, lover, family etc.).  after reading this note (at 4:00 am during one of my insomnia torture spells) it took some weight off of my shoulders.  like the people i've been coming into contact with i also have some issues that need to be sorted out.  so if you need something to read to help lighten your load, then please continue reading...
