as some of you know Missbehave magazine had a mxtape cd contest. if you created and mailed in a disc, they sent out a limited edition, not sold anywhere tee right to your home. well, mine arrived on saturday and i adore it. i wore it on sunday to the SummerStage show and it was great for the occasion being that i don't have any loose fitting cute t-shirts. thank you Missbehave and NailsDid!!

Julian Casablancas (of the Strokes) Santogold, and Pharrell link up to create "My Drive Thru" for Converse. i first noticed this ad in the current issue of Paper mag, but i'm not one to give advertisements too much attention until i started to peep the pic up on some other sites. then when i discovered there was a free download involved i decided to give it a try. "My Drive Thru" is currently in the top 3 of my favorite songs this season. the beat alone with the guitars is sexy enough, but with P's Prince-like vocals, Julian's rock-star cool, and Santi's subtle lyrical jabs--yeah this is a definitely a go.

so here's what's going on with mr. skateboard P.; there's a remix out for "Everyone Nose" ft. k. west, Lupe Fiasco, and Pusha. i heard this on the Angie Martinez show today where Pharrell and kanYe were on chit chatting. sir Williams and Lupe will also be in an upcoming issue of Complex magazine. my friend (we'll just call her "M" because i don't want to get her into type of trouble lol) will be helping dress them for the shoot. when i get some juice on the two sexy stars i will definitely share.

sooo as i'm typing this i know a lot of you are at MSG enjoying the Glow in the Dark Show. don't worry... my turn is in 4 days!!!

i've been listening to this album for the past week (and even as i'm posting this). the album is very, very good. i was nervous because i wasn't sure if they would be able to show up to their debut album 'St. Elsewhere'-- but they did. there's a lot of soul, haunting yet hopeful beats, and if you have a wild imagination like me, then you get to create some great images and stories in your head as you're listening to the songs. my favs are "Going On", "Run", "Open Book", "Surprise", and "She Knows". if you would like to listen to the full album on Imeem then click here.
