kanYe West and Rhymefest are going to co-executive produce a puppet show for Comedy Central.
Billboard magazine said a pilot episode had already been filmed, and featured new music from the Grammy-winning star.
West was also the host but, if the show is commissioned, it will have a new presenter each week - like the Muppets.
Producers on the program, which has the working title Alligator Boots, include South Park writer Jon Kimmel.

i've been saying it for weeks. and it still remains. SUPER CR3W!!! the finals are this thursday and i've voted for them numerous times. in this specific performance they had to incorporate global dances from Africa, Jamaica,Brazil and more. it would've been a doper competition if they were up against Fanny Pack (SoReal Cru? eh). but don't sleep--still vote for Super Cr3w.

as i was in my room i glanced at the bottom of my tv screen just to catch this breaking E! news :
Actor-comedian and Peabody Award winner Bernie Mac has passed away.
"Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital," his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement.
"No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family's privacy continues to be respected."
Mac was 50 years old.
The comedian was first hospitalized with the illness back on Aug. 1 and was initially said to be "responding well" to treatment.
A spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed to E! News that Mac had been a patient for "over a week" and that he died Saturday of "natural causes."
While Mac also suffered from sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation in the lungs, his battle with pneumonia was not said to be connected with the disease.
for our generation he will be remembered for contributing his voice to kanYe west's first two albums, his 'Bernie Mac Show' which i used in a class to demonstrate how he broke the wall between the audience and the screen, and as one of the "Kings of Comedy'. he will truly be missed.
here's some footage and there's some more to come. enjoy!

this weekend was all about the blog-stresses; i met up with my classmate/friend Frances on sunday in Times Square so we could catch "The Wackness" movie. we linked up at the Hello Kitty Store (yes i get my Tokidoki pen, stationary, AND free Sanrio bag). the movie was really cool. the music used just brought you back to 1994. there's some NaS in there and a lot of Biggie Smalls. the plot line was simple, yet understandable. it covered relationships between parents, marriages, friends, and the ages. i must say the only con of the whole movie was Method Man's weak Jamaican accent. there was also a lot of weed action going on in the film. at one point i looked over to Frances and said, "This movie is so realistic, I can smell the weed. No wait... people are smoking in here." but i honestly did get so caught up i forgot i was in a theater. so if you can, check it out. it's very chill and you'll have "mad love" for it lol.
ps. someone ratted on the pot smokers and they were escorted out. "TIME TO GO!!!"
so this is my morning routine: the alarm goes off and i hit snooze about five times, then i turn my tv to Fox 5 morning news. so this morning was unlike any other as i laid in bed listening to what was going on in the world wishing i could just stay in bed. as i was listening i heard about an independent film called "Wackness" that takes place in 1994 and embodies the NYC hip-hop culture of that time--ok so now my eyes are open. then i heard the reporter say that Method Man and Mary-Kate Olsen were also featured in the Sundance Audience Choice winning film--i'm rolling over to face the tv. lastly they had M-E-T-H-O-D Man on the show this morning to interview him about his role--I'M UP!! the movie is basically about a teenage guy who sees a shrink and pays him with weed and i'm assuming encounters some journeys along the way. from viewing the trailer it seems to be a very interesting and entertaining film. it comes out next week and will only be in NYC.
