Friend to fuchsiaMAG (and all around good person to know) Haize.Rava made it onto Complex Fashion's "20 Fashion Designers Worth Following On Twitter". She came in at number 11 and I can tell you personally she's a good twitter buddy to have. She's come a long way from being one of the many who never wanted to sign up for an account, but is now taking over the game. Congrats girl!

My fav is the "Poison" Tee!! It "comes with a stern warning to fellas who are ill prepared to match wits with an alluring female form and a disarming smile."

Another cute top is the "Grind” tee "which exudes the character of someone who doesn’t accept “NO” as an obstacle in their path."

Dangerously Beautiful returns with their new tee line which is "molded by the bustling grind of Miami nights." In their own words:
This collection, entitled “Up All Night,” focuses on the hard work and determined mindset of our female hustlers. Iconic graphic tees dripping with hip hop and indie aesthetic are presented with an assortment of crisp colors sure to expand the palette of any lady’s summer finds.

Cop these and more at the official Dangerously Beautiful site.

Poison (London Style) - Bell Biv DeVoe

Bullet is proud to present to the masses the lead track from this impending EP. "Mr Robotic", produced by Slot A, is yet another guaranteed floor filler from this Chicago performer who has been dominating shows throughout the Midwest in preparation for the Summer release of his new project. Already encouraging prime placement on major sites and finding its way into the crates of the countries' premier DJs, this is yet another reason why people should not sleep on 'MR ROBOTIC.'

ps.
Before you gloss over this post, don't sleep on the kid. He's gotten rave reviews in The Source magazine and has worked with the Cool Kids and fM's favorite twins, Christian Rich. Listen to the new single "Mr. Robotic" (located below) and don't forget to peep his MySpace AND to follow him on twitter.

when you have Santogold, M.I.A. Kid Sister. Pharrell Williams. and Total under your MySpace music influences like Dana La Rock's, you're bound to grab the attention of peeps who were teens in the 90's and today. (don't worry New Young Pony Club & CSS, i will be looking you up after this l0l). this OC girl is riding the wave of futuristic beats and sounds; but like she says in the club ready track "FashionMoneyBoyz"- "I don't give a sh!t/ I'm beastin'". Other cool tracks on the downloadable The Fun Tape are "La Lovefest" and "Dwntwn Grl". give it a listen and feel it out for yourself.

so i was on the BGP site and saw that Princess of the Posse dropped the new Fall '08 line. i attended the Goldmine Fashion show last month where P.O.P. was one of the featured designers and there were some pretty cute pieces strolling down the runway. above is a pic from the show and as you can see i need a better camera that takes great pictures in motion :(

for more Princess de la Posse , just click here.

here's a new graphic tee line based out of Miami. i got an e-mail today from Deviant to check out their gear and i must say it's pretty cute. the 'Ice Cream' tee is my fav. they also do hoodies and fitted caps. if you're interested in checking them out then click here.

i love Princess of the Posse, am a loyal reader of Missbehave mag, and enjoy surfing through Karmaloop for new finds. so how much better can it get to incorporate all three?! Missbehave now has a Pop Up Shop filled with designers' pieces that bring forth a futuristic candy-coated appeal. cute sweaters, colored denim, shiny leggings, and patent boots put the looks together. and don't forget to accessorise with plastic and gold jewelry. majority of the items aren't up for sale yet, so save your pennies and get ready.

shop Karmaloop now and use the rep code RA22169

so a few weeks back i posted the flyer to the Princess of the Posse launch party at Anchor in NYC. i went and had the chance to meet a good handful of people that i always chatted with online: Radio Rose (Around the Way Girls), Annie (Cubannie Links), KayBe & Jennifer (P.O.P.), and my girl Jewels (Bubblegum Pony*s). so it was a productive yet fun time. the pic above is of myself rockin' the 'Bamboozled Tee' with ms. KayBe and you can see more pics on their MySpace page. btw they gave out a sick swag bag with a tote, tee, earrings, P.O.P. sticker and some yummy goodies. ohhhh and yessssssss I GOT MY SCARF!!

my friend Jewels has put these really cute "I Love NY" totes for your pleasure. it's a spin on the classic "I Heart NY" logo, but with a ghetto girl at heart twist (pun intended). these totes come in many different colors and are a good size to carry your flats, water, mags, makeup bag, umbrella, and a snack in. they retail for $25--not bad at all.

and yes i do have one. which one you ask? the black with pink bamboo heart :) THANKS JEWELS!!!

ps. you need to peep the video to get all the contact info or just click here.

Nailsdid have done it again. the UK tee line have previewed their latest shirt which will be available by the end of the month. their shirts are a big hit (the Ellay one is my personal fav). chicks from all over the globe hop for these so cop yours when you can.

so my "Bamboozled Tee" quickly arrived to my home. i love the feel of the shirt and i was a bit nervous about the size, but it's perfect. i have it neatly folded and secure in my closet so there will be no harm to the awesome design. yay!! it's official... i'm a Princess...

me CL earrings are here and i adore them. they are so cool and well put together. i had been checking for them for about a week and the poor package got soaked in the pouring rain on monday, but fortunately they were safe and secure in their little package. i know for a fact i will be ordering more from Annie... i got my eyes on those Twistas....mhhmmm those will definitely be poppin' off this summer!!

ps... check out her blog under fuchsiaMAG friends to see who's been rocking her joints and where you can grab your own.

Princess of the Posse debuted the "Bamboozled T's" last year and were a very big hit. now they are back in '08 with a revamped "Bamboozled T" which is shown above (and is on my way to my house) and a set of new styles in great spring and summer colors. so be the Princess of YOUR Posse and get your order on.

oh and i'm still waiting on my scarf! lol (inside joke)

i've always enjoyed artwork. but ever since i began taking my photography class this semester at Rutgers University, it's been hard for me to just look at a picture/art the same way. i can't just say, "oh that's nice." nuh-uh... i look at lines, colors, angles , patterns... all that. the first piece i saw of Takun's was "I Heart Obama". i checked out some of his other work and noticed that he does have a good range as far as the usage and non-usage of color. some pieces look as though they're bleeding with water colors, yet others have very intricate lines and details. i also enjoy how his work reflects modern pop culture from music, politics, to sex tapes. but enough of how much i like it, form your own opinion and check out his MySpace by clicking here.

ps.. the M.I.A. pic is my absolute fav!

ay Takun... where's my personal piece at yo!!?? lol

they're going!!! i feel like Annie was my email bff for the day lol. i had put in an order for #13 (it was my first choice) but i got a response saying that it was a no go. i had also ordered #4 (fuchsia and black... duh) and that was affirmative. i gave my paypal info, confirmed, and now i'll be one of the fly chicks. she also emailed this pic to me and advised that it would be best to let peeps know what's still available. and remember it's FREE SHIPPING so take advantage.

ps... if you watched the Tyra Show today she had on a springy yellow cardigan and her necklace was a CL piece!!!!

the coolest and nicest jewelry designer is having a sample what?? a sample sale!! Cubannie Links has been seen on some fab chicks such as Rihanna, Tyra Banks, Kid Sister and Alcia Keys just to name a few. i've already placed my order and now it's time for you to do the same. her jewels are already affordable, but this ss just makes the deal extra sweet. plus it's free shipping!!! c'mon now, how can you pass that up?

it's pretty much the "in her shoes" post but a little more amped and polised-- or at least that's what i'd like to believe. it's my first of hopefully more posts for the NY Fashion Connect blog page.

you know the drill... click here to check out this and other cool posts!!

ps... shout out to Hazel for even thinking of me to be a part of this :)
