Like many of the BB8900 users out there, I had to get a "new" phone sent to me because the trackball stopped working.  Although it's hell transferring info over, I feel like I have a new phone in a weird refurbished way.

I visited the website CoolBlackBerryThemes and downloaded a cute Fafi theme.  Best of all, it was FREE!!!

I'm also taking advantage of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, it's great way to transfer my calendar events, contacts and music from my iPod.  By the way, the icon for the Music Player is a vinyl record, eek!

And one last thing, I totally miss my sparkly Sidekick3 and how much attention it (ok I) used to get from it.  So I ventured out and bought some genuine Swarovski crystals and will be making my phone shine soon enough.  Look out for that post.

Yay to Kay for hooking me up with the new BBM info.  It's so cool to hit people up and finally see a cute pic next to their name.  In a nutshell, the upgrade is just like AOL Aim, but again, it's an UPRGRADE!. Here's the thing, just make sure you download the link for your specific BlackBerry.  I've had two people lose their Messenger altogether because they DL'd the wrong link, so be careful.  I'm sure after all of the bugs are dealt with it will be a smoother process.  

RiRi ( since everyone else calls her that) was out and about with her BB. is it just me, or does no one put silicone cases on their phones anymore? i'm sorry but i can't afford to have a scratch on mine; literally and figuratively. ya digg??

for a little over a week now i've been enjoying my new BB 8900.  i was a sidek!cker for years and have discovered a whole new world.  i love BBM, the download apps from different sites, the camera, video recorder, and even the fact that i can play music and hook it up to my car stereo. ps the sound is amazing.  for this to be my first BB i'm very happy that i waited.
yesterday when i was on twitter i was lucky to be chatting with another BB girl, PurpleLipstiick, and she put me on to NancyDrewThemes (pictured above) and i downloaded the CUTEST HelloKittyXMac theme.

i've also come across sites that show celebs with new BB's and i must say i feel like i joined a kick a** club.  here's Lindsay Lohan with her 8900.  i will definitely be posting pics of BB users whenever i come across them.

what will these guys think of next? just when you think you're caught up--YOU'RE NOT!!! lol

the new chromatic iPod is awesome!! it makes a playlist for you based on what you're listening to with the 'Genius' feature. and to shuffle songs, all you have to do is shake it--not your booty--the actual iPod. yes, just give the gadget a shake and it shuffles to a new song. i don't know how these guys do it, but Apple is amazing.

i love pretty things life ruffles, gold, diamonds, and kittens. however--i'm a hardcore techie. this pen records audio and your notes can be uploaded to your computer in an instant. on the special notebook you can even touch a spot on your notes and it will play back from that point. OMG this pen is very necessary for my life. the 1GB runs for $149 and the 2GB goes for $199.
